Urgent study of the impact on gamblers and their families in the Corona disaster!
Receipt of special fixed benefits and behavior of gamblers in connection with self-restraint from pachinko
The Association for Problem Gambling conducted an emergency survey on the impact of the Corona disaster on recovering gamblers and family members of gamblers involved with the Association.
The survey revealed problems with the behavior of gamblers to refrain from playing pachinko and with the application of special benefits to the head of household in one lump sum.
The survey was conducted via the Internet over a 24-hour period from 5/6 to 5/7, 2020.
The survey was targeted at recovered gamblers who are connected to the Association and their families who are connected to some form of support, so it is assumed that the situation is even more serious for families in the midst of the gambling problem.
