The Tokyo Grace Road Family Seminar was successfully held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Tokyo General Beauty College Multi Hall. Tokyo Grace Road is a facility dedicated to gambling addiction recovery. The event saw impressive attendance, with more than 300 participants gathering from across Japan. The high attendance highlights the increasing public interest in recovery from gambling addiction and the vital need for family support. In the afternoon session, our representative, Noriko Tanaka, delivered a keynote speech. She shared stories of gamblers and their families who are on their individual paths to recovery with support. Ms. Tanaka strongly emphasized that we should see gambling addiction not as a personal fault, but as a complicated social problem that needs everyone’s understanding and systemic support. The seminar was a valuable opportunity for people in recovery, their families, and supporters to deepen their understanding and reaffirm the importance of networks that facilitate sustainable recovery.
